"I got my first computer in 1984 and began programming that same year in Basic! I knew straight away that this is what I wanted to do as a career. Not many people are as fortunate as I was to know, at a very early age, what they wanted to do for the rest of their lives... I studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa after-which I began my career at Eskom, the electricity utility for South Africa. My first job, outside of pure programming, was to work with the business folks to see where IT can help improve the way that they use their IT systems. This ability and keenness to leverage my knowledge to help others has morphed itself into my company, ERPGenie, more than 20 years later. Helping individuals and companies is core to our belief system. If we haven't left you better off and more knowledgeable than when we arrived then we have not done our job right! I've been fortunate, that over the years, I've been able to help out many prominent companies, and their employees, like Apple, Microsoft, HD Supply, Asics and Cintas, to name a few.
