Success Story: Paul Vahle GmbH Reduces Delivery Times with Process Observer
I found this nice article on SCN about SAP POB that I thought to share here...
The complete success story is published at SAP.com.Paul Vahle GmbH & Co KG (The VAHLE Group) is a mid-sized company based in Kamen, Germany that has specialized in mobile power and data transmission since 1912.They are active in 52 countries and have 13 subsidiaries worldwide. VAHLE develops, manufactures, and installs customized power and data transmission systems for various material handling applications.VAHLE implemented the Business Suite Foundation component Process Observer together with SAP consulting partner Cubeserv in order to identify bottlenecks and streamline their order-to-cash process run on SAP ERP. The overall deployment time of the Process Observer component took only 10 days. The monitoring setup, on top of Process Observer, allowed them to identify gaps in material planning and in stocking processes that were slowing down product delivery. Appropriate training of business users and constant evaluation now enables them to deliver faster and make their customers happier.

Success Story: Merck Group uses Process Observer (POB) to Monitor Master Data Harmonization
I found this great use case for SAP POB on SCN - Thought I would share it here...
The Merck Group uses Process Observer in the context of Master Data Harmonization. While the core process of creating and changing master data is implemented using SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG-M, find the Success Story here), Process Observer is used for reporting and to make the process visible. A story about this was released at the SAP Forum in Austria 2013, DSAG Technologietage 2013 and at SAP TechEd in 2012. The presentation from the SAP Forum is online and can be reviewed here (the document is available in German only). The basis for the integration of Process Observer into SAP MDG is the SAP Master Data Governance rapid-deployment solution. In the SAP Demo Store, a demo is available showcasing this integration: EIM MDG-M Create Material with Process Observer (Logon to the SAP Demo Store required).
